Jewel Box

This is a photo of a box that my grandma used to own. She gave it to me because she saw how fond i was of it. I remember her taking out her jewels from the box and letting me try some of them on. The box itself i don't think had any specific importance but i had always liked the purple colour and the oriental patterns that wove around the box. It was a lovely memory to keep and something that i will one day give to my grandchild. Taking a part of the past and saving it for the future.
